Dorothy O. Carlson Funeral Held In Mason City
Funeral services for Mrs. Ted O. Carlson, 70, of Mason City, and formerly of St. Ansgar, who died October 16 at a Mason City hospital, were held October 18 at Trinity Lutheran church in Mason City with the Rev. Lavern R. Hanson officiating.
Mrs. Carlson (nee Olsen) graduated from the Northwood high school and Minneapolis Business College. She was employed for many years at the Bricelyn State Bank, Bricelyn, Minn.
She married Ted Carlson in 1930 and lived in St. Ansgar from 1934 to 1956 where she was employed as a bookkeeper at the St. Ansgar Lumber Co. She was employed at Mid-State Supply Co. in Mason City until retiring in 1965.
Mrs. Carlson is survived by her husband, Ted; a son, Dean T. Carlson of Iowa Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Archibald (Alcienne) Fedge of Iowa City; Mrs. Donald (Elaine) Hylden and Mrs. James (Wanda) Waite, both of Carmichael, Calif.; one brother, George A. Olsen of Des Moines.
Burial was in the Kensett cemetery with Rev. Hanson in charge of committal services.
