OBITUARY: Rose Ann (Lonergan) Bush, 1863-1893
ROSE LONERGAN BUSH
The funeral ceremonies of Mrs. Rose Lonergan Bush read in the Methodist church yesterday, and affecting remarks were made by Rev. Lockwood. The deceased was born in Oconto, Wis. April 25, 1863 and moved to Osage township with her parents in 1965, where she resided until her marriage to Percy G. Bush, January 20, 1886.
Life was full of promise and expectation to the then newly wedded couple, and with buoyant hopes and sprits they moved to Hazel, S.D, where they were enjoying life and prosperity until the angel of death, without warning, gathered into his cold embrace the fond wife and mother leaving a grief-stricken husband and a baby of seven months old to mourn her said and untimely death. She was a daughter of P. Lonergan.
