Rites for Noah Naden, 87, Are Held in Osage
OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. F. A. Court of the Osage Methodist church for Noah Naden, 87, who died at his home here Wednesday morning after being in poor health for some time.
Born May 3, 1849, in Lisbon, Illinois, he came here as a small boy with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Naden, who settled on a farm. On December 27, 1875 he was married to Julia Sprague at Floyd. They farmed until 1902 when they moved to Osage where they have made their home since.
Surviving are his widow and four children, Joe Naden of Douglas, Kansas; Mrs. Pearl Sherwin
of Winfield, Kansas; Mrs. Maude Brown of Osage; Will Naden of Webster City.[Mason City Globe Gazette, Friday, May 8, 1936)
NOTE: Apparently he died on Wed., May 6, 1936.
