RITES TO BE WEDNESDAY FOR AGED OSAGE WOMAN
Osage: Maria Auringer's funeral rites will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Champion funeral home, and at 2 at the Congregational church, Riceville in charge of the Rev. Stiles Lessly, Osage pastor and the Rev. J. B. Priestly, Riceville pastor. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Riceville.
Mrs. Auringer was born August 18, 1856, at Randon Ontario, Canada. She emigrated to the United States with her parents at an early age, and they made their first home in Saratoga township, Howard county Iowa.
On February 22, 1880, she married Daniel Auringer, who preceded her in death. Ten children survive their mother, also 19 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
The children are Mrs. Z. B. Wildman and Mr. T. W. Zitk, Monticello, Minn.; Mrs. J. B. Dargan, Riceville; Mrs. C. W Coder, Oregon City, Ore.; Mrs. Myra Garver, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Reece Flack, Ella and Eva Auringer, Osage. There are 2 sons, Floyd of Riceville, and Clifford of Minneapolis.
