FORMER OSAGE BAKER DIES IN WISCONSIN
Osage, Iowa - Peter Spoden, 69, died June 6 at Janesville, Wis., having been in ill health for some time. Funeral services were held Friday at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Janesville, with burial in Janesville Cemetery.
Born at North Washington Iowa, he lived in Osage and was employed at Kawwac's Bakery before moving to Wisconsin.
Survivors include four sons, William and Robert, both with the U.S. Navy, Penscola, Fla.; Edward and Frank, both Janesville; seven daughters, Mrs. Gordon Christiansen; Mrs. Eugene Serleth, and Mrs. Agnes Jacobson, all of Janesville, Wis.; Mrs. James Chapin, Waterloo, Iowa; Mrs. William Long, Richmond, Ind.; Mrs. Willian Storey, Clinton, Wis.; Mrs. Gene Bobolz, Avalon, Wis.; also six brothers and two sisters.
