Osage: Funeral rites will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran church for Ferdinand C. Muller, 65, Cedar township farmer, who died Sunday afternoon at his home, having been in ill health for some time.
He suffered two strokes late Friday and had been in a coma since Sunday. Burial in St. Johns Lutheran cemetery.
He was born January 29, 1882 to Gustav and Maria (Struber) Muller, in Cedar township, Mitchell county, where he spent all of his life. He married Caroline A. Troge May 23, 1907, who survives him. He spent eight years in the retail department of the Osage creamery, following farming, retiring just a year ago because of his health.
He leaves his wife, four childen, Nina, Osage; Glen 927 Cannon street, Waterloo; Mrs. Donald LaCoste and Loren, both Osage; two grandchildren; thre brothers, Herbert, La Crosse Wis.; George, Austin, Tex.; and Walter, Osage; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Ahrens, wintering in Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Ed Schuttler, and Verna, both of Osage.
Preceding him in death were a brother, John, and sisters in infancy. Rites will e at the home prior to the church service, body at the Champion funeral home.
