November 17, 1917 -- April 2, 2010
OSAGE, IOWA - John R. Indra, age 92, of Osage, died Friday April 2, 2010, at Mitchell County Regional Health Care Center in Osage.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev John Moser officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage. Visitation is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
John was born November 17, 1917, on the family farm west of Osage, the son of Joseph and Amelia (Hovel) Indra. He attended the country school on the Mitchell corner west of Osage. John worked on the family farm until moving to Osage with his mother, sister and brother in 1961. He did yard work and various jobs until he became disabled.
John is survived by numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Leona Indra; and a brother, Lloyd Indra.
