Wilhelmine Christiane 'Minnie' Muller, 1889-1973
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church for Minnie Muller, 83, who died May 26, 1973 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage after major surgery. The Rev. I.G. Kitzmann was in charge of the services with interment in the Osage cemetery.
Minnie Muller was born September 28, 1889 in Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Herman Albert and Christine Marie (Wilk) Muller. As a child she was baptized and in 1906 Pastor August Mueller confirmed her at St. John's Lutheran Church southwest of Osage.
Minnie attended the public schools in Cedar Township, later moving to Osage with her family. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran until Trinity Lutheran was started in Osage, where she and her twin sister Elizabeth (Lizzie) became active members.
Her parents, two brothers, and one sister preceded her in death.
Survivors include three nephews, Maurice Muller of St. Ansgar, Herve Muller of Anaheim, California, and Wilford Muller of St. Paul, Minnesota.
