STACYVILLE, IOWA — Anton Heimer, 64, retired farmer northwest of Stacyville, Friday night at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital at Osage of cancer and complications.
He leaves eight children: Robert, Mitchell; Mrs. Roger Walsh, Austin, Minn.; Melvin, Stacyville; Herbert, Coon Rapids, Minn.; Mrs. Harry Hemann, Osage; Clem, Stacyville: Dennis, Rochester, Minn.; Mrs. Ben Thome, Adams, Minn.; three sisters, including Mrs. Mike Retterath, McIntire; Mrs. Marie Blake, Waterloo; three brothers: Paul, Jerome and Fred, all of Stacyville.
His wife died on September 10, 1946.
Funeral at 10:30 p. m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church at Johnsburg, Minnesota, with burial in the church cemetery. Rosary at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hatten and Son funeral home here.

in MinnesotaSTACYVILLE, IOWA — Anton Heimer, 65, died Friday night at the Mitchell-County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at St. John's Catholic Church at Johnsburg, Minn, Burial was in the church cemetery. Batten Funeral Home was in charge.
Surviving are five sons, Melvin and Clem, Stacyville; Herbert Coon Rapids, Minnesota; Robert, Mitchell: Dennis, Rochester; three daughters, Mrs. Roger (Elizabeth) Walsh, Austin, Minn.; Mrs. Harold (Helen) Hemann, Osage; Mrs. Ben (Magdaline) Thome, Adams; Minnesota; and 33 grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Paul, Fred and Jerome Stacyville; three sisters, Mrs Mike (Anna) Retterath, Mrs. Marie Blake, Waterloo; Mrs. Gilbert (Genevieve) Steiger, Detroit, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1946; a son, William; and a brother, Art.
