OLDEST OSAGE RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Adelbert Hughet Victim of Pneumonia
Osage: Mithcell county's oldest resident, Mrs. Adelbert Hughet, died at the age of 98 years. Immediate cause of death was pneumonia. She had been in good health with the exception of an affliction with her eyes.
Funeral services were to be held Friday afternoon at 2 at Champions funeral home in charge of the Rev. Stiles Lessley. Burial will be on Saturday in the family lot at Livingston, Wisconsin
Mrs. Hughet was born November 14, 1845 at Petersborough, Canada, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Boll. She came to Toledo, Iowa, as a young girl and was there married to Adelbert Hughet. They resided at Toledo until his death in 1890.
Five children were born to the Hughets, with 3 deceased. Surviving are Henry Hughet, of Osage and Mrs. H. F. Wachs of Milwaukee. There are 2 grandchildren.
Mrs. Hughet came to Osage 11 years ago, where she since made her home with her son, Henry and family.
