Funeral at St. Ansgar for Lewis Jensen, 72

St. Ansgar, Iowa - Funeral services for Lewis Jensen, 72, were held Friday at the Champion Funeral Parlors, Osage. The Rev. W. F. Belling, pastor of the Methodist Church, St. Ansgar, officiating.

He died at his home here Tuesday evening following a heart attack

Born in Denmark, he had been a resident of this vicinity most of his life.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Raymond of Mitchell, and Vernon of Rockford, Illinois; and a daughter, Mrs. Paul Luckinbill, Yates City.

Burial was made in the East cemetery at St. Ansgar.

Death has claimed several in the county this week, among them John Klinger, 63, who had operated a grocery and general store at Mitchell for 40 years, and Louis Jensen, well-known St. Ansgar farmer. Both died suddenly from heart attacks. . .

LEWIS JENSEN

Lewis Jensen, 72, died at his home at St. Ansgar at 8 o'clock Tueday evening after an illness from heart disease of about two hours. While Mr. Jensen had not been in the best of health the . . . .
