Charles E. Lonergan, 1916-2004
Charles E. Lonergan, age 87, passed away May 20, 2004 in Montica, California. He was born near Brownsdale, in Mower County on February 25, 1916.
Charles married Carol Olson on February 23, 1945 in Mason City, Iowa. To this union was born two children Cindy Ferril and Frank. He was in the Navy and lived in Iowa, Minnesota, California and on naval bases.
Preceding Charles in death were his parents Lloyd and Tillie Lonergan, two sisters Ila Ebbers and Maxaline Miller, one brother Bill and one son Frank.
His survivors include a daughter Cindy Ferril, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters Bertha Flatness and Dora Weiland and two brothers Neil Lonergan and Mahlon Lonergan, nieces and nephews.
