Emma Schersach dies at 91;
Rites Monday

OSAGE, IOWA - Miss Emma Schersach, 91, died Friday at the Rockwell Nursing Home where she had been a patient the last year and a half. She was the last of a family of eight brothers and sisters.

She was born November 23, 1870, to Joseph and Elizabeth Schersach in Necedah, Wis., and came to Mitchell County as a girl. She had been a dressmaker here.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Conroy will officiate. Chamption Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
