Ronald J. Hrubetz

Funeral services were held Monday, March 21, 1988 at the St. Ansgar Catholic Church for Ronald James Hrubets, 50 of Prescott, Wisconsin, formerly of Osage. The Reverend Joseph Heineman officiated and burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery. Mr. Hrubetz died Thursday, March 17, 1988 at his home.

He was born August 8, 1937 in Austin, Minnesota, the son of Louis and Lorraine (Pavek) Hrubetz. He was educated at Father Flanagan’s Boy’s Town in Nebraska,

He entered the U.S. Army in 1956 and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve until October of 1961.

He married Myrna Boerjan on January 30, 1960 in St. Ansgar. He was a salesman for 20 years for various companies.

He had been ill since July of 1986.

His parents, one brother, and one sister preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Myrna of Prescott, Wisconsin; two daughters, Jacqueline Sams of Inver Grovers Heights, Minnesota, and Shawn Henderson of Seattle, Washington; one son, Timothy of Prescott,; two grandchildren; eight sisters, Eldean Gould of South Elgin, Illinois, Joice Wagner of Lametta, California. Janet DeBoe of Manhattan Beach, California, Patricia Benko of Santa Barbara, California, Carol Sheets of Palo Alto, California, Sharon Wrythrow of Nashville, Tennessee, Karen Skjeveland of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, and Barbara Nelson of Lyle, Minnesota.
