Mrs. William Green, 67 Dies; Funeral Tuesday
Osage: Funeral services have been tentatively set for Tuesday morning for Mrs. William Green, 67, wh died Sturday evening, at the home of her daughter, Ms. Glen E Sweeney, Waterloo. Services will be in charge of the Rev. Father Mayer at St Peters church with burial in the St. Peters cemetery.
Elizabeth Blonigan was born February 10, 1877, daughter of Sebastian and Gertrude Blonigan, near Stacyville. there she resided with her parents until a young woman. On June 24, 1895, she was married to William Green. they lived on a farm near New Haven until her serious illness this past year.
to them were born 8 children, 6 of whom survive, as folows; Mrs. Glen Sweeney of Waterloo, Lawrence S. Green of Waterloo; Leo A Green of Riceville; William H. Green of Cedar Rapids; Paul F and Vincent A Green, seaman 2nd class, in the navy.
Also surviving are her husband, 2 brothers, Frank and Phillip Blonigan of Osage, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wagner of New Haven, and Sister M. Berlindes of Green Bay, Wis.
