Julia Frein
OSAGE, IOWA - Julia Frein, 101, of Osage, died Tuesday, March 26, 1996, at the Faith Lutheran Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation will begin with a rosary at 4 p.m. today and a Scripture wake service at 7:30 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage.
Julia was born April 2, 1894, at Meyer.
Survivors include four sons, Vernon "Dick'' Frein of Garner; William Frein of Des Moinesl Marvin Frein of Minneapolis, Minn., and Robert Frein of Osage; two daughters, Mary Alice Merrick of Osage, and Pat Ahrens of Mason City; two sisters, Clara Mayer of Stacyville, and Bertha Mullenbach of Osage; 32 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sons, one infant daughter and one great-grandson.
