Funeral services were held Saturday, March 19, 1988 at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, for Louie Kindschuh, 74, of Osage. The Reverend Jerry Newland officiated and burial was in Osage Cemetery. Mr. Kindschuh died Wednesday, March 16, 1988 at an Osage nursing home.
Mr. Kindschuh was born November 11, 1913 in Little Cedar to Ralph and Viva (Shotliff) Kindschuh. He moved with his family to a farm west of Osage and attended rural schools. He later farmed with his father.
On September 18, 1937 he married Margaret Lonergan in Osage.
Mr. Kindschuh was a rock driller for Kollman Quarries, Inc., for many years until retiring.
His parents; a son; and a sister preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Karen) Maakestad of Rockport, Washington and Mrs. Robert (Marlene) Wagner of Osage; a son, Richard of San Antonio, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. LaVerne Loden and Mrs. Carmen Tibbits, both of Osage.
