On Saturday the 28th, occurred the death of Miss Pernille Erickson of consumption, at the home of her mother, Mrs. A. Erickson, near St. Ansgar. Pernille was born November 7, 1872 on the farm where she died and therefore was not quite 25 years of age. She was the seventh of twelve children and was the seventh to die. She had been sickly for seven or eight years-that dread disease-consumption slowly but surely fastening its grip upon her. The funeral which was held on Monday, September 30, at the St. Ansgar Norwegian Lutheran church was conducted by Rev. J. Olsen and her remains were laid to rest in the St. Ansgar Norwegian Lutheran cemetery. The heartfelt sympathy to all is extended to the sorrowing friends in their affliction.
