PETER W. HEINTZMAN

ST. ANSGAR - Peter W. Heintzman, 78, of St. Ansgar, died Tuesday (March 30, 1999) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center West, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Ansgar Catholic Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of arrangements.

Peter Heintzman funeral held Saturday, April 3

Funeral services for Peter William Heintzman, 78, of St. Ansgar, who died March 30, 1999, were held Saturday, April 5 at St. Ansgar Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Schneider officiating.

Peter was born February 28, 1921 to Frank and Margaret (Heier) Heintzman in Onaka, South Dakota. He entered the U.S. Army and served his country from February 16, 1945 until August 9, 1946. After service Pete worked at various jobs including carpentry, restaurant business, painting and woodworking. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.

Peter is survived by one daughter, Diane Tison of Seattle, Washington; three sons, Harlan, Darrel and Ronnie Heintzman, all of Seattle, Washington; three brothers, Roy Heintzman of Onaka, South Dakkota, Johny Heintzman of Hutchingson, Kansas, and Leonard Binfet of Rush City, Minnesota; eight sisters, Kattie Waldman and Emma Waldman, both of Onaka, South Dakota; Rose Fis, Clemy Vetch Agnes Imberi, Tillie Mehlhoff, Ann Cetch and Josephine Zacher, all of Aberdeen, South Dakota; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mary Heisler, and one brother, Leonard Binfet.

Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
