Curtis Bisbee 1891-1957

Curtis Joseph Bisbee was born on a farm northeast of Lyle, Minnesota April 28, 1891, to Virgil and Hannah Jacobson Bisbee. He spent his boyhood days on the farm and attended rural school there.

He was united in marriage with Rena Palmer on September 26, 1914, and to this union five children were born. He had been afflicted with a heart condition for some time and slept away on Thursday morning, February 14, 1957 at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 17 days.

He is survived by his wife, Rena, four daughters, Naida (Mrs. Charles Grulke), Kassan, Minneosta, Dorothy (Mrs. Lawrence Schmit), Rose Creek, Jane (Mrs. Rondald Somey), Austin, and Jean (Mrs. George Thompson). Austin; 12 grandchildren, eight sisters, Mrs. Thomas Van Alstine, Temple City, California, Mrs. Arthur Johnson, Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Thomas Kelley, Miles City, Montana, Mrs. Irene Reis, Billings, Montana, Mrs. Herb Morse, Spokane, Washington, Mrs. Lewis Jansen, Billings, Montana, Mrs. Lavern Hough, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Vivian Bundhe, Van Couver, Washington; four brothers, Bradford of Osage, Arthur of Toeterville, Raymond of Austin and Leonard of Shepherd, Montana.

His parents, one son and two brothers preceded him in death.
