Robert Stephan Hobkirk
On the 21st day of July 1908, Robert Stephan Hobkirk passed from this life. He was born at Rosendale, Fondulac Co., Wisconsin, on the 18th day of December 1849 and was married at Osage, Iowa, Feb. 3, 1876 to Louisa J. Campbell, who passed away 14 years ago, on the 10th of June.
He leaves five children; Henry Willard, Jessie Bell Wyborney, Robert Arlo, Joseph LeRoy, Zadie May, and one brother, W.J. Hobkirk of Osage and a sister, Mrs. John Duncan of Hopesdale, Wash.
The funeral, which was under the direction of the K.P. Lodge, was held Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Carlson preached the funeral sermon. Interment was at Woodbury Cemetery, rural Lyle, Minnesota.
W.J. Hobkirk and family of Osage, Mrs. Chinn and family of Grafton, Joe Hobkirk and family of Osage, Mrs. R.D. Noble of Osage, Jim Penny of Wells, Miss Mary Hobkirk of Fox Lake, Wis., were here to attend the funeral.
