OSAGE, IOWA - Beverly J. Smith, 67, of Plymouth, died Wednesday (Feb. 3, 2010) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, with Pastor Paul Brown, officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Friday, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Beverly was born August 18, 1942, in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Lee and June (Tang) Wilder. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School. Beverly married Paul E. Smith in June of 1967. Paul passed away in December of 1994.

She had previously worked as a secretary. Beverly was most recently employed at A to Z Drying in Osage. She shared her life with Chuck Power since 1995. Beverly enjoyed cooking for her family, and she and Chuck especially enjoyed making Christmas special for the family.

Beverly is survived by her significant other, Charles "Chuck" Power of Plymouth; one daughter, Sheila Smith, of Cedar Falls; one son, Terry (Dorothy) Fleshner of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law and families; and numerous friends and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Paul E. Smith.
