Darwin L. Mullenbach, 1960-2004

Darwin L. Mullenbach, 44, of Rose Creek died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at his home. Darwin was born Feb. 24, 1960, in Osage, Iowa, to Elmer and Donna (Graves) Mullenbach.

He graduated from Southland High School and was married to Denise Mayer on July 27, 1991, at Johnsburg, Minn.

Darwin was an employee of Quality Pork Processors in Austin. He enjoyed camping, gardening, collecting bear sculptures and had recently began latch hooking projects. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Darwin is survived by his wife Denise Mullenbach, Rose Creek; children: Renae and Craig Mullenbach, Rose Creek; parents: Elmer and Donna Mullenbach, Adams; sisters and brothers: Cindy Mullenbach, Stewartville, Minn.; Brad (Gayle) Mullenbach, Austin; Delmer (Nancy) Mullenbach, Owatonna, Minn., Nancy (Butch) Eischens, Dodge Center, Minn., Scott Mullenbach, Adams; Mary Jo (Glen) Nichols, Chatfield, Minn.; David Mullenbach, Spring Valley, Minn.; Bev (Jim) Salisbury, Stewartville, Minn.; and Janice (Steve) Eischens, Taopi, Minn.; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fathers James Seitz and Ruben Spinler officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Adams.

Casket bearers will be Scott Mullenbach, Brad Mullenbach, Larry Brandt, Dave Mullenbach, Delmer Mullenbach and Mike Mayer.
