Died Sunday
After Lingering SicknessMrs. Will Weber passed away at her home southeast of Osage, Monday morning, after a long painful illness. In January she was operated on for cancer, but never recovered from the ordeal.
Mary Elizabeth Mueller was born in Minneapolis Feb. 16, 1888, to Peter and Eva Thul Mueller. She spent her girlhood in Minneapolis and attended the St. Boniface school. Three children preceded their mother in death, one from scarlet fever, and the other two in a most tragic way. One little girl was burned to death in a bonfire and the other fell into scalding water and was so burned that she passed away. Also surviving are her sister, Ann and five brothers: Matt, Henry, Joseph, Frank and Lee. All were present at the funeral.
Other relatives from away were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chaplain, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Parker, Miss Helen Devany and Miss Ann Remner all of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Marr Thul, Excelsior, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Jake Weber, Madison, Wisconsin; Mr. and Mrs. H.I. Stover and son, Fon du Lac, Wisconsin; Jake Warringer and Sylvester Adler, Waunakee, Wisconsin.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9 0'clock at the Catholic church at New Haven, and burial made at that place. Requiem high mass was celebrated by Father Roche, of the Cecelia Parish.
