Gertrude Mostek

Funeral services were held Monday, November 5, 2001 at St. Ansgar Catholic Church for Gertrude A. Mostek, age 74, of St. Ansgar. Rev. Joseph Schneider officiated and burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell. She died November 2, 2001 at Mitchell County Regional Health, Osage. Schroeder-Sites Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Gertrude was born Dec. 23, 1926 in Stacyville to Fred M. and Winifred (Gilles) Hemann. She married Anthony Mostek on Jan. 26, 1952 in St. Ansgar. Gertrude enjoyed fishing, gardening and flowers.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband on May 30, 1989, three brothers, Robert, Leo and Wilmer.

Those that survive her include her two brothers, Robert Hemann of Stacyville and Alfred Hemann of Austin, Minnesota; three sisters, Agnes Weber of Austin, Minnesota, Mary Jeanne Mauer of Riceville, and Theresa Janet Wilson of Osage, Iowa.
