Dreher, Mary Ellen Mernaugh
Died: December 26, 1938
Funeral services were held from the Dreher residence at 1:45 and from the Methodist church at 2:00 o'clock for Mrs. Mary Dreher, nee Mernaugh, age 69, who died Dec. 26, 1938 at her home in St. Ansgar following an illness of about three years. Rev. W. F. Belling conducted the services.
Mary Ellen Dreher was born Nov. 2, 1869 at Muskegan, Michigan. Early in life she was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic church in which faith she remained all her life.
In 1892, she was united in marriage to Fred Dreher. To this union, a son and a daughter were born. The Dreher family came to St. Ansgar in 1900 and have lived here ever since with the exception of about nine years spent in Bertha, MN.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Albert at Chamberlain, S.D. a daughter, Mrs. F. J.(Emma Hazel) Wilmot, Osage, two brothers and one sister, and fourteen grandchildren. Interment was in the St. Ansgar City Cemetery.
