Funeral services for Mrs. Olena Dalager, sister of Mrs. A.C. Echburg, were held Monday afternoon at the Schutte funeral home at Austin. The procession left immediately for St. Ansgar, where the service was held at the First Lutheran church with interment in the family lot here. Rev. O.A. Langehough had charge of the services.
Mrs. Dalager died May 16, 1938, at her home at 908 East Water Street, Austin, Minn.
She was born November 12, 1859, in St. Ansgar, Iowa, where she grew to young womanhood. At the time she was united in marriage to Andrew A. Dalager she moved to Austin where she spent most of her remaining years. To this union were born three children: Miss Blanche Dalager and Mrs. Ruth Clareson of Austin and Dr. Roy A. Dalager of Chicago.
Besides her chidren she leaves three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. A.C. Echburg of St. Ansgar, and many other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Dalager was for many years a member of St. Olaf Lutheran church of Austin where she was a willing worker up until the time she had the misfortune to fracture her hip, which confined her to her home. She was a patient sufferer and lightened her home with her cheerful disposition.
