ViEtta Wold 80
Funeral services for ViEtta Wold, 80, of Rolfe, Iowa, and formerly of St. Ansgar, Iowa, who died Sunday, January 2, 1994 at home, were held Wednesday, January 5, 1994 St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rolfe with the Reverend David Peterson officiating.
ViEtta (Aftine) Wold was born February 15, 1913 near Harcourt. She graduated from Harcourt High School in 1932. She attended the Fort Dodge Beauty School.
In 1939 she moved to St. Ansgar where she owned and operated a beauty shop until the spring of 1941. Later that year, she married Arnold Wold at St. Ansgar. They made their home in Rolfe. He died in 1977. She continued to make home in Rolfe.
ViEtta is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, and four brothers and two sisters.
Burial was in the First Lutheran Church Cemetery, St. Ansgar.

NOTE: The newspaper printed her maiden name as "Aftine" but it is believed the correct spelling is "ALFTINE".
