Funeral was Monday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Toeterville, for William F. Duenow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Duenow.
He was born March 1, 1852, in Pommern, Germany, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Anna Seefeld, Thursday January 27, at the age of 96.
He served in the German army for five years, came to America and settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until 1881, when he came to St. Ansgar and married Eliza [Elizabeth] Wagner.
He leaves 12 children, Mrs. Anna Seefeld, St. Ansgar, Mrs. Ida Rachut, Rock Creek; Mrs. Tillie Smith, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Laura Smith, Mitchell; Albert, St. Ansgar, Mrs. Lena Thorson, Grand Rapids, Minnesota; Mrs. Alice Decklever, Osage, Oscar, Los Angeles, California; Walter, Lyle, Minnesota; Mrs. Alma Kearney, Washington, D. C.; Esther and Grace, Los Angeles, California. He also leaves 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; one brother, Charles, St. Ansgar.
He was preceded in death by his wife on April 20, 1923.
He was a member of St. Peter's Church for 67 years.

William was born in Langkafel, Dist. Naugard, Pommern (Pommerania), Germany.
