Funeral services for Bent H. Benson, 88, who died at the Benson brother's home last Thursday morning, were conducted at the home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock; Rev. Olaf Langehough in charge. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.
Bent H. Benson, son of Hellek and Ingeborg Benson was born in Rock county, Wisconsin, August 12, 1848. At the age of six he came with his parents who settled on the farm just south of St. Ansgar.
With the exception of a few years spent on a farm in Brown county, South Dakota, he had lived in or near St. Ansgar all his life. He was 88 years, two months and two days at the time of his death.
