Funeral services for Jason Willard Horgen, 16, of St. Ansgar, who died Thursday, August 31, 1995 near St. Ansgar as a result of an automobile accident, were held Tuesday, September 5 at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the Reverend Roy Ott officiating.
Jason Willard Horgen was born September 15, 1978 in Kingsville, Texas, the son of Lowell and Sandra (Polzin) Horgen. He lived with his parents in California, Hawaii, Virginia, Minnesota, and moved to Iowa in 1992. He attended St. Ansgar High School, where he was a junior. He was a member of the St. Ansgar FFA Chapter.
Jason is survived by his parents, Lowell and Sandra Horgen, St. Ansgar; grandmother, Mary Belle Horgen, Osage; sister, Lorri and husband Scott Wagner, Burnsville, Minnesota; brothers, Larry and wife Lisa Hall, Richmond, Virginia; Lonny Hall, West St. Paul. Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Willard Otto and wife Erma Polzin; grandfather Glendon Horgen.
Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
