Andrelia Sissel, 89, of Austin, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2001, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home in Stacyville, Iowa.
She was born April 2, 1912, in Romania. She came to America in 1939 and married John Treef, was divorced and married Rollo Sissel in 1951.
She attended First Congregational Church, UCC in Austin and was well known for her beautiful crocheting and hand work. She was also a member of the International Club and the Business and Professional Women in earlier days.
Survivors include her stepdaughter, Marilyn Nelson and husband Shirll, Lyle; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollo Sissel.
Service: 2 p.m. today at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Peck officiating.
Casket bearers are Marshall Nelson, Bradley Nelson, Barry Nelson, Derek Nelson, Alex Nelson, Laura Nelson.
Organist is David Dahlquist, soloist is Bradley Nelson.
Visitation: One hour before the service today.
Interment: Grandview Cemetery, south of Austin.
