Funeral services for W. Bernhardt Ask, 70, who died last Thursday at his home in Osage following a heart attack, were held Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran church with burial at the First Lutheran cemetery in St. Ansgar.
Mr. Ask was born in Cedar township on January 16, 1881, the son of Ole and Olava Ask. He was married to Bertha Marie Rossum in 1904. The couple lived on the Ask farm in Rock township until 1945, when they retired to Osage.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Truman of Osage and Manvil of Mitchell; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Seeber of Osage; four sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Nelson and Mrs. Iver Rossum of Osage, Mrs. Carl Blagsveldt of Lanesboro, Minn., and Mrs. T. Synsby of Mitchell. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
