Maurice K. Champion

#1:

OSAGE, IOWA - Services for Maurice K. Champion, 81, Osage, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ, Osage. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Osage.

He died of natural causes on Wednesday, September 13, 1989 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage.

Survivors include his wife, Maurine of Osage and Dr. Craig Champion of Iowa City; a sister, mary Louise Norby of Osage; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Mr. Champion was a local businessman for more than 60 years. He owned C.R. Champion and Son's Furniture store, Osage, and was president of Champion Funeral Home Inc.
