ANDERSON, DAHL, TOLLEFSRUD, SEVERSON, WHITE

(St. Ansgar Enterprise October 24, 1916)

Andrew Anderson was taken suddenly ill on the 23rd day of May and was a patient sufferer until the time of his death October the 24th, 1916 which was caused by heart failure.

He was born the 25th of March 1855, in Newburg township, Mitchell County, Iowa, 61 years 7 months and 30 days ago.

He was baptized and confirmed by Rev. Clausen of St. Ansgar and later was united in marriage to Mary Dahl of Lake Mills, Iowa, the 16th day of July, 1883. To this union were born ten children.

He leaves to mourn his wife and ten children, Mrs. Christina Severson of Carpenter, Ia., Mrs. Peter Tollefsrud of Brooten, Minn., Mrs. Henry White of Carpenter, Ia., Oliver Anderson of Austin, Minn., and Gustav, Clarence, Arthur, Marie, Selmer and Alice of Carpenter, Ia., which were all present. He also leaves to mourn one sister, Mrs. Emma Dahl of Golden Valley, Minn., one brother, Carl Anderson of North Dakota, and six grandchildren.

He spent 44 years on the old homestead and was loved by all who knew him.
