Funeral services for Robert Rosenberg, age 77, were held Tuesday at the German Lutheran Church at Rock Creek, Iowa.
He died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in St Ansgar.
Surviving are his wife; three sons: Lawrence, Roy and Elmer of St. Ansgar; and two daughters, Mrs. Alton Halvorson, St Ansgar, and Mrs. Harvey Dutcher, Grafton.

Robert Carl Rosenberg was born on October 12, 1876 in Newburg township, Mitchell county, Iowa, the son of August Hermann Rosenberg and Augusta Wilhelmina Albertina Schmidt.
He died on October 10, 1953 at St. Ansgar, Iowa, of a coronary occlusion. His funeral was held at St. John's Lutheran church, Rock township. He was buried at St. John's Lutheran (new) cemetery in Rock township.
He was married on September 20, 1900 to Caroline Anna Dieterichs, in Rock township, Mitchell county, Iowa. They were parents of seven children: Reuben, 1901, Lawrence, 27 NOV 1903, Roy E., 5 FEB 1906, Alvin, 21 JUL 1907, Elmer William, 14 NOV 1910, Irene Irma Ella, 14 NOV 1917, and Aline Agnes, 27 JUL 1920.
Caroline Dieterichs was born on April 18, 1879 in Rock township, Mitchell county, Iowa, and died on November 23, 1972 at St. Ansgar. She was the daughter of Heinrich Wilhelm Louis Dieterichs and Auguste Habethal.
