OSAGE, IOWA — Christine Ones, 54 died Monday night at Rochester, following an operation for goitre.
Born in Rock township, daughter of Iver Ones; spent entire life there.
She leaves her father, sisters, Mrs. George Nelson, Tolly, N.D.; Mrs. Ida Nydigger, Waterloo; a brother, John Ones, Rock township.

Christine Ones 1885-1939
Christine Ones, a well-known and much-liked resident of the Rock Creek community, died at a Rochester, Minnesota hospital Monday evening, July 17, 1939. She had undergone an operation, following which pneumonia developed.
Christine was born at the farm home west of Osage on January 6, 1885 to Mr. and Mrs. Iver Ones and lived in the community all her life.
She is survived by her father, Iver Ones, her sisters, Mrs. George Nelson, of Tolley, ND and Mrs. Ida Nydegger of Waterloo; also a brother, John Ones, living in the home community. Her mother passed away a year ago.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 21, 1939 at the Shelledy Funeral Home at 1:00 and at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at 2:00. The Rev. O.C. Myhre will be in charge of the service and interment will be made in the Rock Creek cemetery.
