RICEVILLE, IOWA--Larry D. Anderson, 55, of 3369 470th St., Riceville, died Monday (May 6, 1996) at Section 29, Oakdale Township, Howard County. He was working on a corn planter when it fell on him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, McIntire, with the Rev. Donald Lovejoy officiating.

Burial will be in Wayne Cemetery, near McIntire.

The Hutchins Funeral Home, LeRoy, Minnesota, is in charge of arrangements.

Larry D. Anderson was born Dec. 20, 1940, in Emmet County, to Gotchel (Pete) and Mable (Hansen) Anderson.

He was united in marriage to Kay Satern on June 24, 1962, in McIntire. She preceded him in death on June 17, 1994.

He was a farmer.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, McIntire, and a board member of Farmers Mutual Insurance of Osage.

He was on the board of the Riceville Community School. He was treasurer of Wayne Township.

Survivors include his parents, Gotchel ``Pete'' and Mable Anderson of Riceville; his parentsinlaw, Maynard and Wilma Satern of Riceville; his children, Kim Knudsen and her husband, James, of St. Ansgar; David Anderson of Riceville; Kelly Wix and her husband, Kurt, of Rochester, Minn.; Kristy Brandau and her husband, Troy, of Riceville; and David Anderson, of Riceville; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Lubbert and her husband, Dean, of Riceville; Debra Roth and her husband, Greg, of Marquette, Mich.; two brothers, Darrel Anderson of Riceville, and Dennis Anderson, of Lisbon, N.D.; and his fiancee, Nancy Fox of Riceville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay, on June 17, 1994.
