STACYVILLE, IOWA--Bena Abben, 90, of Stacyville, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 1996, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa.
Services were held Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Bena Abben was born July 22, 1906, in Parkersburg.
Survivors include five sons, Leland of Albert Lea, Minn.; Kenneth of Cedar Rapids; Duane and Millard, both of Little Cedar, and Harold of Joplin, Mo.; three daughters, Helen Reckner of Rock Falls; Mildred Rhodes and Dorothy Caldwell, both of Cedar Rapids; 36 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter and 12 brothers and sisters.
