OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral rites are pending for Thomas Ormsby, age 73, who died Thursday morning at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota.

Body at the Champion Funeral Home. Rites will be at the Sacred Heart Church. He was a retired farmer.

He leaves his wife Olive; and one son, Everett, of Des Moines.

Rites Incomplete
for T. Ormsby,
73, of Osage

OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral arrangements are incomplete for Thomas Ormsby, 73, at the Champion Funeral Home here. He died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota.

Mr. Ormsby had lived in Mitchell County for the past 29 years. He lived near Little Cedar before retiring to an acreage west of Osage two years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Olive; a son, Everett, Des Moines, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Virgil and Cletus, who lost their lives in World War II.

NOTE: His wife, Olive was born in 1888 and died in 1966. It also said that Thomas was born in 1888 and died in 1957. (From memorial tombstone for Cletus and Virgil Ormsby)
