OSAGE, IOWA — Miss Cora A. Bundy, 87, Mitchell county pioneer, Thursday at the Wass nursing
home in Mason City, having been in failing health for two years; funeral, Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Champion funeral home in Osage; burial in the St. Ansgar cemetery.Born July, 1866, to Dr. and Mrs. A. D. Bundy, at St. Ansgar; spent girlhood there; attended Wayland academy at Beaverdam, Wis., and the Chicago Art Institute; avocation was painting; was employed for sometime as Mitchell county deputy treasurer.
In 1898 moved with parents to Osage, where she had since lived; following the death of her father, she cared for her mother.
Leaves brother, Irving Bundy, Valparaiso, Indiana, and a sister, Mrs. May B. Emondson, Portland, Oregon; preceding her were two sisters, Mrs. Kennedy Scott, Mrs. Harmon McIntire, and three brothers, Jay, Frank and Byron.
