ST.ANSGAR- The funeral for Lawrence P. Priem, 60, Mason City pharmacist who died Wednesday in a Mason City hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Major Memorial Chapel.

The Rev. Leroy E. Bauman, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate.

Mrs. Wallace C. Allen will be the organist. (Sept. 8, 1966)

Mr. Priem was born July 15, 1906, at St. Ansgar, son of Albert and Sophia (Drescher) Priem.

He was graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1932 in the college of pharmacy.

He came to Mason City and had been associated with drug stores here since that time.

The last few years, he was associated with the Casey Pharmacy.

During World War II, he was in the U. S. Navy, serving with the First Marine Division over-seas. He was a member of the Clausen-Worden Post 101 of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was married to Evelyn Ehlers, July 29, 1946, Willmar Minn.

Surviving are his wife; a sister, Mrs. Lester (Ruth) Hasse, Minneapolis; and four brothers: Albert Priem, Watertown, S.D., Oscar Priem, Portland, Oregon; Walter Priem, LaCrosse, Wis., and Lewis Priem, Wellesley, Mass.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Clara.

Pallbearers selected are T. W. McDonald, R. E. Eichinger, Arthur J. Smith, Thomas R. Fuller, Alex W. Pollock and C. E. Roseland. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.
