Floyd Kittleson Funeral Held First Lutheran

Funeral services for Floyd Kittleson, 67, who died Wednesday, April 23, 1969 were held Monday, April 28 at First Lutheran Church, with the Reverend Don Comnick officiating.

Floyd Lawrence Kittleson was born May 18, 1901 in Newburg Township, Mitchell County, the son of Lars and Betsy Thorson Kittleson. He was baptized by the Reverend Johan Olson and confirmed in the Lutheran faith by the Reverend M. E. Waldeland and remained a lifelong member of the First Lutheran Church here.

On January 15, 1922 he was married to Caroline Feldt at St. John’s Lutheran Church, east of Grafton. They made their home in St. Ansgar.

Mr. Kittleson is survived by five sons, Master Sgt. Galen Kittleson, Fayetteville, North Carolina; Marlin, Norman and James, St. Ansgar, and Clair of Mt. Aye; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Marjorie) Johnson and Mrs. Robert (Virgene) Erdmann, both of Osage, Mrs, Wayne (Carol) Jones, Floyd; also 21 grandchildren, one brother, Ben of Austin, and one sister, Mrs. Leon Rodemaker, Osage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Caroline, a sister, three sons, one daughter, and a grandson.

Burial was in First Lutheran Cemetery with Reverend Comnick in charge of committal services.
