Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 10, 1988 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage, Iowa, for Marcella Isaacs, 71, of Osage, with Rev. Leon Connolly officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Mrs. Isaacs died Saturday, Aug. 6, 1988 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, of natural causes.
Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Isaacs was born Feb. 15, 1917 in Jenkins township of Mitchell county, to Joseph and Bertha (Tennyson) Quinn. She graduated from McIntire High School in 1936 and married Garland Isaacs on Feb. 8, 1944 in Riceville.
They farmed in the St. Ansgar, Grafton, and Osage areas until moving to Osage in 1976.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garland in 1985; five children, Donna, Jerry, Sharon, Charlene and Ronald; two brothers, Vincent and Bernard.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dick (Darlene) Fraser of Cresco; and nieces and nephews.
