Plan Funeral Services for Claire Roberts
OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services for Claire C. Roberts, 90, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Hugh Wright will be in charge. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
He died Saturday afternoon at the University Hospital, Iowa City, following major surgery.
He was born March 9, 1866, at Union, Wisconsin, to William and Hannah Aller-Roberts. He moved with is parents to Mitchell County and has lived in and near Little Cedar and Osage.
He was married to Alice McLain on Sept. 2, 1891. She died in 1930. Following her death, he returned to Little Cedar.
He was preceded in death also by a brother and a sister.
Surviving are a son, Clinton Roberts, Osage, and two sisters, Essie Houghton and Eleanore Frazier, Little Cedar.
