Henry Julius Shoger was born April 24, 1880 and died December 30, 1906. His home has always been at Rock Creek. Where he was only four years of age his father, Hans F. Shoger died, also one brother and two little sisters are gone before. Henry has never been robust in health but was greatly improved by the climate of California where he spent the year 1901.
He was always kind and pleasant in the home and wherever you met him. His step-father and his mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Daley, one brother, Cornelius Shoger, one sister, Mrs. S. Klemesrud, two half-brothers, William and Elmer Daley, and one half-sister, Adella Daley, survive him.
The funeral services conducted by Rev. Urnes were held last Wednesday, January 2d at the Rock Creek Lutheran church of which Mr. Shoger was a member and the remains were laid to rest in the South St. Ansgar cemetery beside his father and two little sisters.
