LAST RITES HELD FOR
GLEN BAKKUM,
MITCHELL WORLD WAR II VET

Funeral services for Glen Bakkum, 28, World War II veteran and former resident of Mitchell who died at Mason City last Friday were held Tuesday, April 17, 1951 at the Lutheran Church in Osage with the Rev. T. P. Solem officiating.

Mr. Bakkum had been hospitalized repeatedly for the past eight years with an illness contracted while in the service.

Military honors and burial were conducted in the St. Ansgar Cemetery, in the family lot.
