Dorothy Agnes Smith
OSAGE, IOWA -- Dorothy Agnes Smith, 91, of Osage, died Wednesday (June 26, 1996)at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church/Western Douglas, rural Plainfield, with the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Nashua, and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Dorothy was born on Sept. 8, 1904, at Goldfield.
Survivors include three sons, David and Jeffrey of Nashua, and Thomas (Tod) of Dakota City; six daughters, Mary Jean McGrath of Oregon, Wis., Dorothy Vivian Carter of Ames, Hattie Havig of Osage, Janice Feldman of Nashua, Elva Spetz of Lac du Flambeau, Wis., and Barbara Maakestad of Osage; one brother, Russell Keith of Garner; and one sister, Marian Dean of Des Moines; 46 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; two sons; one daughter; one brother; one sister; and three grandchildren.
