CARPENTER, IOWA -- Donald, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Nickerson of Carpenter, died Saturday at a Mason City hospital of pneumonia following an operation several weeks ago for a ruptured appendix.

The funeral was held Tuesday at 1 o'clock p.m. at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in St Ansgar.

He is survived by his parents, one brother, Harold Nickerson of St. Ansgar, and by one sister, Mrs. Harold Brown of Carpenter.

One brother, Forest, preceded him in death.
