Amber M. Hartwig, 36, died at her home in Belton, Missouri, on July 14, 2009.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday July 25, 2009, at the Catholic Community Center in Nora Springs, Iowa.
Amber was born on Friday Sept. 8, 1972 in Charles City, the daughter of Dennis and Linda (McManus) Hartwig.
Amber attended grade school in Nora Springs and high school in Mason City, graduating in 1991. Amber graduated from North Iowa Area Community College as an optometric assistant. At the time of her death, Amber was the manager of the Vision Center at the Blue Ridge Walmart in South Kansas City, Mo.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Alica and Micheal Adams of Belton, Mo.; her parents, Dennis and Linda Hartwig of Mason City; her paternal grandparents, DeVere and Gloria Hartwig of Mason City; her sister Angie Bublitz and her children Cody, Taylor, Carter and Spencer of Nora Springs; and nephews and nieces,Forrest, Mason, Olivia, Brooke, and Samantha Fuller, from the Kansas City, Mo. area. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Amber was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marshall and Mabel (Robertson) McManus, and her uncle Norman McManus.
Inurnment will be at Rock Grove Cemetery, Nora Springs, at a later date.
